# Dolibarr, TakePOS and a simpler checkout project.

TakePOS is Dolibarr’s point-of-sale module. If you prefer a different counter experience, caisse.tn builds the connection to your Dolibarr setup on request, then makes it available to everyone.

## The role of each tool

Your daily workflow determines the choice: managing third parties, quotes and invoices in Dolibarr, or preparing products and selling through a dedicated checkout. caisse.tn supports catalogue preparation, barcode sales and cashier reporting. The Dolibarr connection is built on request; it is not a TakePOS module.

## The workflow to define

First decide what should move: product references, identified customer records, invoices or register summaries. Dolibarr’s enabled REST module and technical user permissions determine available services. We review installed modules with you, agree how numbering, taxes, credit notes and payment methods stay consistent, then validate the whole accounting flow before going live.

## Questions for your project

1. Which Dolibarr version and modules are enabled?
2. Should an anonymous counter sale create a customer record or named invoice?
3. Which system owns invoice numbering and tax rules?
4. How will credit notes, returns and register closing be checked?

## Discuss your integration

Include the tool and version, your country, the data to exchange and a technical contact. Do not email passwords or API keys.

Each connection also depends on the provider’s API access and authorisation, and on availability in Tunisia: we check these at the start. Names belong to their respective owners. Inclusion does not imply affiliation, certification or endorsement.
